Pamela Yellen,author of Bank on Yourself
Since 1990, Pamela Yellen has been a consultant to financial advisors. In this position, she investigated over 450 savings and retirement planning strategies and vehicles, before learning about Bank On Yourself.
Pamela spent five years investigating and implementing the Bank On Yourself method for her own family, before determining it provided an unbeatable combination of wealth building advantages and guarantees, at a time when most experts agree conventional financial and retirement planning strategies are not working.
She ultimately became convinced that Americans have been brainwashed into believing they must accept risk, volatility, and unpredictability in order to grow a sizable nest-egg. It became Pamela’s mission to share the message of Bank On Yourself.
She has also helped train 200 Bank On Yourself Authorized Advisors throughout the US and Canada to help their clients implement this strategy properly.
Pamela has written numerous articles and been featured in hundreds of publications, including USA Today and Fortune Small Business. She is a professional speaker who has addressed more than 1,000 audiences throughout the US, Canada, Asia and Europe.
Pamela has also co-authored several books, including Zero-Resistance Selling, which she co-authored with Maxwell Maltz, M.D., the author of the best-selling book (more than 30 million copies sold worldwide), Psycho- Cybernetics.
Her latest book, BANK ON YOURSELF: The Life-Changing Secret to Growing and Protecting Your Financial Future, will be published by Vanguard Press in March 2009.
Pamela was born in Buffalo, New York, and has lived in Sarasota, Phoenix and the San Francisco Bay area. She graduated from the University of San Francisco with a degree in psychology.
Pamela currently lives outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico, with her husband, Larry. They enjoy theatre and the arts, hiking, bird watching, traveling, gourmet cooking, working out (Pamela can leg press 250 pounds!), reading and are involved in supporting numerous charitable causes.
